TVGB editorial: "Providing Meaningful Choices in Games"

That VideoGame Blog's Korey McMurtrey talks about how games don't really offer of choices that actually matter in the end. Choices that devs like to tout as game-altering, but never really are.
There’s a lot of talk in the gaming industry and gaming press about providing meaningful choices to players that drastically affect their gameplay experience. But despite that, I can think of very few examples where this has been implemented. Most choices in games are superficial, and you follow the same path no matter what you decide.

Yeah, I know what he means. For example, in Assassin's Creed, we were told that the game would be made easier or harder depending on how many citizens you save. In retrospect, it' just for peole who have nothing to do, and doesn't make that much of a difference.

I only hope Infamous is better...
