Midway have announced losses of almost $30 million for Q4 2007, up from $2 million in Q4 2006. However the company says that after a rough quarter they've set themselves up for a smoother 2008. They did also mention that UT3 gave their figures a good shot in the arm, as well as taking home some awards. Now that "technological hurdles" have been overcome, the company says they're ready to tackle this year. By that they probably mean getting used to all the new power available in systems as well as the high definition format.
Full year sales reached $157.2 million, down slightly from the prior year's $165.6 million, with $97.4 million in losses, up from the 2006 losses of $77.8 million. Looking forward to its first quarter ending March 31st, Midway expects sales of $28 million.
