Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing

Jack Thompson has been well on the way to lawyer Hell for quite some time. In fact, he's practically paved the way. This latest antic of his can easily put him in federal hot water with the Department of Homeland Security and/or the FBI. Nice one, Jack!
What did he do? He threatened the Florida Bar and the state Supreme Court by comparing the two entities after he's done with them to Hiroshima after the United States dropped the atomic bomb back in World War II. ...Or did he? He all claimed that it was "figuratively speaking," so that surely means it can't be a threat, even though he used a picture to emphasize his point!
The Florida Supreme Court, meanwhile, has grown weary of Thompsons many filings, which it terms abusive of the legal process. Based on a recent show cause order, it seems likely that the Supreme Court will soon refuse to accept anything submitted by Thompson. The Florida Supremes also have a hand in Thompsons troubles with the Bar. The Supreme Court, for example, appointed the referee, Judge Dava Tunis, who presided over Thompsons Bar trial and will soon issue a ruling on her findings.
Thats the backstory. Late Tuesday afternoon, Thompson sent GamePolitics an e-mail which contained a new filing with the Florida Supreme Court. The document (MS Word) was CC:d to numerous attorneys, Florida Bar officials, and even state prosecutors.

In other words, let's just sit back and laugh at him for because he can easily be thrown in federal prison for this. If not, his chances of getting disbarred just increased yet again.
I mean look at our media which continues to cover things like this we all want to stop. He's only doing it for attention, just like the bully's like to be the center of attention as well. If no one ever crowded around and made a big deal about the bully when he was pummeling the little guy. The little guy only has to suffer once because the bully will likely never mess with the little guy again because he didn't get what he wanted. Attention.
These people don't care whether you like them or hate them, just as long as you're giving them attention you're showing you care. Whether you believe it or not, hating someone is still showing that you care. The most powerful means of really showing how much you don't care is showing apathy and indifference. That's what these kinds of people can't stand.
I guess the problem in certain issues lies in where do we chose to not inform the public at the expense of safety and other important factors but the fact remains that situations like this with Jack Thompson, everyone would benefit from not giving him any attention.
I guess I'm just having a retrospective day...
Which he basically is, but then as a lawyer.
