Sega Wants To Know If You Still Own A Dreamcast!

Sega has updated it's Dreamcast Japanese website to see the amount of people who still own a Dreamcast. It's still unknown to why Sega are doing this but there is always hope.

Due to a high number of people accessing the web page after the news have spread, you will be lucky enough to pass the homepage. Seems like there is still a large amount of people who own the under rated Dreamcast console. Many Dreamcast owners are trying to register their console to create an account, but you only get a message saying "Due the high volume of account requests, the service will be temporally suspended."

So all you Dreamcast owners out there, keep checking back and spread the news. Hopefully this is for the best.

    Something tells me if the news is positive and lots of people still own a Dreamcast/still play a Dreamcast they may plan a new console, i wouldn't see new games coming for it though.

    If it is a new console what are they to do about Sonic, he's a bit of a whore now, what with all the other consoles he now frequents, maybe its time for a new image for Sega. Condemned could be their flagship title if they made a new console in time for PS4/Xbox720 era.

    If that happens I will miss Sonic as I probably wouldn't get the console, if they do it this gen they will have a big problem since they have put Sonic with Mario on two Wii games (one by them, one by Nintendo), so I am guessing next gen if at all.

    I remember rumors a while ago, about the possibility of a new Dreamcast, though it turned out to be bogus, I believe....

    If Sony doesn't add anything new in their "PS4" other than a better DVD player and better online and better graphics ect, they will eventualty die and SEGA might grab the change to come back. I'd love that to happen, not that I love SEGA, I just hate how Sony ruined gaming.

      Seriously get a clue, Sony revolutionised gaming if it wasn't for the Playstation, gaming would still be a geeks game. Yes back in 1995 this console changed the way people viewed gaming and even today the Playstation is still changing views on gaming as an entertainment medium and not just for gaming... So do some research or are you one of these Nintendo gamers that still find the Wii amazing, when its a $40 Gamecube in a white case with a new controller that actually limits the kinds of games it can play.

        I'm just saying, adding on a DVD player and all that crap made the games themselve seem less important. Oh and the new controller doesn't limit the games, I take it you don't own a Wii, so ask someone who's played a Game like Brawl or SUper Paper Mario, and you'll see it only expants the posibilitys. But thats my option.
