An interesting list is gathered here containing the 21 most difficult Nintendo games around. Although I'm surprised by some of the entries in that list as some have been released recently, while others are not surprising at all to make it on the list. Anyway here is the list containing the 21 most difficult Nintendo games of all time!

    Wait, Super Mario Galaxy and no Kid Icarus? This is a load of bull, or just someone who finds even the easyest games hard.

      Yes, SMG was very easy. I beat it completely and it wasn't that hard. I can think of so many games that were harder. Even Super Mario 64 and Sunshine were harder.

    castlevania circle of the moon was difficult, but nowhere near as difficult as the oldschool ones.. or even the latest castlevania DX chronicles (hardest game ive played in years).

    f-zero gx *bleep*ing belongs there. that game was ridiculously hard.

    Not a bad list as a whole, though they shouldn't have put Mario Galaxy on there because of just one difficult star to get. Advance Wars and Monkey Ball have always been challenging, and completing the hardest mode on F Zero GX was one of the most hair-ripping moments of my life..

    MGS?? I thought that was Konami? Either way it aint hard. Advance Wars, I agree with, without a doubt. Although Duel Strike was pathetically easy, aint got my hands on dark conflict yet.

    Super Mario Galaxy isn't even that hard, and Kid Icarus not being on the list shocks me. I have difficulty getting past the 2nd level on that game.

      I hope that they really mean Metal Gear (NES) and not Metal Gear Solid (Gamecube). If they do mean Metal Gear then it does deserve to be on the list for sure. x_x I wanted to pitch that game in a fire when I tried it again recently.

        Weird, it was one of the easiest NES games I ever played (compared to them at least). Metal Gear 2 was a shitload harder though.

    Anyone ever play Last Action Hero on SNES? THat has to be one of the most difficult Nintendo games ever. I couldn't get past the first level, no matter how many times I tried it. Me and my buddy were convinced that the game only had the first level, and so hard because no other levels really existed.

    Not the greatest list, but some titles mentioned do hold some truth. I assume that whoever did this forgotten or never played games like the first TMNT.

    To be honest this is a pretty terrible list. There are definetly some difficult titles but this is hardly definitive. And why the hell is Kuru Kuru Kururin on the list? The game is a breeze.

    MGS? How the hell was that hard? Even MG was a cinche. But yeah, I can agree with the Contra series and Castlevania series being tough. For some reason, I'm absolutely horrible at Simon's Quest.

    But I did get passed the first 2 levels in Contra.

    But how come TMNT wasn't up there? That game was such a bitch! You had 4 lives for the whole freakin game! I only got passed the first level once (I always got ran over; never used the maps at first).Not to mention the enemies would always come at you in like hordes of 10-15, and then there were boomerang-throwing enemies, gun-wielding enemies, while you only had your stick, your Katana, nunchucks, and Xias. wtf! That aint up there? They're dicked!

    Lol Megaman and Bass was hard but not hard enough for me to throw my GBA to the wall and then stomp it with all my might .
