Obsidian has history developing some very good RPGs. Their latest is Alpha Protocol, an "espionage" RPG. There is very little known about the title at this time, but Obsidian CEO Feargus Urquhart commented, “Alpha Protocol blends Obsidian’s knack for intricate stories, engrossing characters, and significant character advancement with fast-paced modern combat..." And if Feargus likes it, that is good enough for me!

Obsidian/SEGA have announced Alpha Protocol, an espionage-based role playing game set in modern times. Alpha Protocol is estimated for a 2009 release and apparently stars Ben Affleck (I mean look at that guy in the image!). Although, that is not confirmed by any source at this time.
