Gibson says Guitar Hero violates their patent from 1999

Gibson is claiming that Guitar Hero games violate one of their patents from 1999 for a “system and method for generating and controlling a simulated musical concert experience."

It seems to me like Gibson is just trying to make some easy money off of an established franchise.

    Oh come on, just give it up already Gibson. Didn't you notice something suspicious when Guitar Hero began using models of your guitars in the game, didn't you remember your patent then?

    Oh of course not. You were waiting to see how rich everyone was going to get before trying to sue. *bleep*ing ridiculous.
