First Lord of the Rings Online Expansion Announced

Lord of the Rings Online came out last year to critical acclaim and gamer reaction. The MMO features beautiful graphics and fun solo and group gameplay. Developed by Turbine, creators of Asheron's Call 2, LotRO is about to get its first official expansion.

Turbine, Inc. and Codemasters Online today unveiled Volume II of The Lord of the Rings Online, the first retail expansion for the award-winning massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG). Announced in Birmingham, the childhood home of J.R.R. Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings Online: Mines of Moria will expand the online world of Middle-earth to let players explore the ancient underground cities of the dwarves, battle epic characters in the depths...

Seems like just yesterday when LOTRO first came out. I think I avoided it because I believed it was P2P. Oh well, I hear it's quite successful.
