What's this? Things you need to know about a video game before playing it? Apparently so. The Chief Creative Officer of High Moon Studios, Emmanuel Valdez, sat down with IGN and told us what we need to know about The Bourne Conspiracy so that we don't get surprised.

The main emphasis? Action, action, weapons, and even more action!

Sierra recently held a press event for The Bourne Conspiracy in Sydney. Alongside rides in Mini Coopers and fight scenes we were able to go hands-on with the game and take part in a Q&A with Emmanuel Valdez, Chief Creative Officer of High Moon Studios. Since the US guys recently published their hands-on, we've decided to take a slightly different tack, and bring you ten things you need to know about the game, straight from Emmanuel himself.

"you have the opportunity to play with the Jason Bourne you're all familiar with, we like to call him the Prey, and [then there's] the Hunter, when Jason Bourne remembered when he was a fully functional Treadstone assassin."

Badass!! I like the way they are implementing the escape segments from Jason's "prey" times and the action oriented segments for when he was a badass assassin that we've never seen portrayed again.

Okay, you have me convinced. That's all the justification I need to shoot people. Just don't have me mowing down people left and right. It needs to be more Splinter Cell like. Not just waves of baddies.

Damn dude. Good find. I'm totally confident in these guys now after what they're saying. Their heads are definitely in the right place. This game could be awesome.

Though for a Treadstone super agent, he seems to get caught a lot when assassinating people. Something tells me this game will be linear, so it's up to the gameplay to make me not give a shit about that.

All they have to do is make killing more difficult and then you don't need to have billions of grunts. I hate the staple of videogames where every bad guy has like an unlimited supply of gunmen. It's like a *bleep*ing army all the time.

I played this game at the Play.com Live event on the Xbox 360. I got to play four levels. One is inside a building, the second is at a train station, third is on ground and aeroplane while the fourth you're just roaming aroung with a car.

The game's combat system is pretty cool and has numerous hot spots. You can perform takedown's after executing a successful combination of moves and that takedown can be used effectively if you're near a hot spot.

I fought against two bosses and they have much more HP than the normal enemies and they can perform takedown's on you also. Anyway the downfall of this game is that the camera was so bad.
