HOORAY!
It's certainly quite an accomplishment, though. Together, first day sales in Japan and North America are 1.6 million, and that doesn't include Europe. If it sells 800,000 there on the first day (just like it did in both North America and Japan), that would make total first day sales hit 2.4 million. That's quite a big number for any game, I believe Halo 3's first day sales were somewhere around that mark. Both are two of the biggest system-selling franchises out there, so it isn't particularly suprising, but it's very impressive.
Nonetheless, an impressive feat.
I think that GTA SA had 18 million sales, but I'm not sure on that.
Bleh, it doesn't matter.
This game deserves to be praised as it is.
Long live Brawl...and cake.
I hope the same happens for Mario Kart: Wii.
