Limited to 500 units and only available to press outlets, Microsoft will be releasing a GTA IV-themed Xbox 360 Elite soon. As for why they aren't releasing it publicly as a reaction the title's non-exclusivity now is hard to say.

The paint is automotive grade which should withstand any over zealous cleaning should someone be silly enough to try it, and each one has its own unique production number on it - thus proving its worth. The catch? These special little guys are only being presented to press outlets like other promotional swag in the past, if you want one you will have to get it off eBay in a few years.

With all the hype of GTA IV, I'm not terribly surprised. They released a Simpson's Wii after all. Why not a 360 of a popular game?

Actually I don't, but still pretty cool.

I'd be surprised if they didn't bundle this version of the 360 along with the game. If they want to get noticed and people to buy the game, that's how it's done.

Hmm I guess it isn't to much of a surprise, it doesn't look to bad. I'm not bothering to get one though

Yet more money making scams from big corporations...I say that because although they are given out for free the people they give them too will sell them on for money and by helping them make money Microsoft is buttering them up. Bastards *shakes fist*
