Man, this rumor certainly is resilient. No matter how many times it was denied or dismissed, it just keeps coming back. Well this time 1UP is the one starting up the rumor again based on a recent interview with Square Enix's Hajime Tabata. In the interview, Tabata says that Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core (PSP) will not be the final game of the FFVII series. That means there will be another game coming from SE set in the FFVII world. Could it be the remake of the original FFVII?

But after our hopes were dashed for the umpteenth time late last year when Square-Enix never got around to announcing a FFVII remake for the PS3, we basically stopped hoping.
