Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time
14 hours 6 mins ago
What every gamer hoped would happen sometime in their lifetime looks to be coming to fruition. This device, once released, will revolutionise the gaming world. Imagine not having to move and still play games.
The only downside is that it may lead people to just waste away sitting in a comfy chair for hours on end with zero movement.
NEUROHEADSET that allows the wearer to play videogames simply by thinking has been unveiled at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco and will go on sale later this year.
The Emotiv EPOC "brain-computer interface device" looks like a headphone strap with 14 neurosensors that branch off it like fingers. The sensors sit on the sides of the temple and top of the head.
The device can detect conscious thoughts, areas of brain activity, facial expressions and even some emotions such as frustration, shock and anger, and will cost about $US300 ($326) when it is released in late 2008.

Then you might want to revert to a controller again
As for being something I would like...not sure, but ill definately give it a go if it's proven safe, eg. doesnt fry your brain cells.
Furthermore, I suggest you check out this link for a laugh:

Good post though.
look how lazy this world is getting, if gamers dont have controllers then where do they get their exercise lol.
What it basically does it take a gauge of your brain's electrical activity -- not much different that a electro-meter would, if you were testing a motherboard or something. It can generally only sense either two states: either you are thinking really hard, or not thinking that hard. You don't have much more fine control than that.
I mean even at the unveiling conference (as I linked above) the thing didn't even work well enough to use, and that guy undoubtedly practiced hard-core for the seminar.
I'll stick with the controller to play video games.
