Famitsu reports that Capcom's solid Xbox 360 shooter, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, will be coming to PCs. As the game will be made to support the DirectX 10 API, you'll need a Vista-ready machine to run it. This goes against what producer Jun Takeuchi said earlier this year about Lost Planet remaining an Xbox 360 exclusive.

According to a machine translation of Famitsu's article, the game will support a display resolution of up to 2560 x 1600 pixels, and should be ready for a North American and European release by June 2007. No word was given on a Japanese launch of the PC port.

    I'm probably only going to check out the 360 version of the game (well, my step-dad is buying it). If it comes out for the PC, I won't get it. ^^;
