With the launch of WiiWare in Japan, today we learn that FF CC: My Life As A King will feature downloadable content costing between $1 and $3 USD, with purchases of outfits, buildings and races available.

With WiiWare now launched in Japan, it now looks like we’ve all discovered the reason decided to announce its Wii Pay and Play service at the Game Developers Conference earlier on this year - because Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As A King is set to feature micro-transactions.

Wow you can buy races for a dollar these days. Didn't know the world was reverting back to those times.

That sounded so funny, "With purchases of outfits, buildings, and races available".
    Sounds so casual.

This game looks pretty awesome to me. I'd rather use a couple of Wii points instead of pay real money though.

Is this going to be a 'half MMORPG'?

Real money translates to Wii Points and will be what you use to buy the DLC. No difference.

This is more of a city-building sim, rather than a MMORPG.

I personally find this racist. Allowing you to PAY to buy new races, or classes? They should just let you buy new buildings and such.
