Young girls are being targeted for an online game that involves the player guiding their very own 'Bimbo' through various tasks such as tanning and plastic surgery. The game is being condemned by many experts as it encourages extreme dieting to stay as thin as possible, and introduces adult relationship concepts to girls as young as 7.

GIRLS as young as seven are being targeted for a controversial online game where characters get breast implants, stay “waif thin” and constantly visit tanning booths.

The Women's Forum Australia has condemned the MissBimbo game, in which millions of players around the world guide their "bimbo" through a variety of tasks.

Some of the tasks include starting and ending relationships, constant dieting (but "every girl needs to eat, every now and again") and constant visits to a tanning salon.

Bimbos also need to undergo two operations to make themselves more "beautiful" before reaching the end of the game.

"Are you the most beautiful? You will be soon! Have a nip and tuck operation for a brand new face," the game says.

"Bigger is better! Have a breast operation."

And people wonder why eating disorders are more common among females than males...

Women are usually twice as likely to get most mental disorders that exist than males.

I seriously don't understand why people would waste their time by creating games like this.

"Bigger is better! Have a breast operation."
    You know it!

I saw this on a news site from here in Australia, but its also been plastered all over the evening news. Its kicking up pretty big stinking controversy by the sounds of it.

They better take this website down, if it hasn't been yet. Young girls could be exposed to pedophiles, and could potentially get hurt.

That is possible all over the Internet though.

True, but this sounds worse. I don't think young girls are going to be visiting websites such as Neoseeker or GameGrep.

Not only is it sending a bad message, but it's not exactly the most exciting concept for a game. Quite frankly, it sounds dull.

Stupid idea for a game, but there are hundreds more that you can find which are similar or worse.

    Wonderful idea...NOT!

Bad message & stereotyping, crap concept, and honestly girls that look like their all bone are hardly good looking so why anyone would want to make a game where your making "bimbos" look exactly like that is beyond me.

This has been on the news recently here too. I imagine this appeals to a lot of young girls so the web-creators aren't stupid, although like mentioned it would easily appeal to paedophiles too. Surely the kids parents see them on this shit though? They have to check-up on them.

I was listening to the politicians about this last night. Quite an out rage to hear such things being directed to children so young but then again I think what they try direct at 13 year olds on cartoon network is bad enough.

Sounds like it would be funny for about half a second.

    Btw, is "bimbo" a verb?

While I might suggest that a world full of women that were more visually appealing and less grumpy would make the world a happier place, I would never in a trillion years or under the harshest torture say that out loud near a woman. I would be murdered in the worst ways possible.

Are men not also the objects of female scrutiny though?

    Where's my Man Bimbo game?!

Jeez, WTF is up with the creation of this game? Who the HELL thought this was a good idea?

Perhaps they are capitalizing on the growing trend of young girls 'growing up' before they should be, what with all the fashion magazines and advertisements telling them it is 'ideal' >_>

Also, what marketing genius decided including 'bimbo' in the title, was a good idea?

@AlvaroDuck - Bimbo is a noun. A type of person (Woman), in this case >_>

I think it's hilarious. I wonder what the sales figures look like?

Just wow. That's all I have to say..

Sad thing is that this game will generate so much press that'll probably be very profitable.

Who needs a marketing campaign when the press will advertise your game for free?
