LittleBigPlanet is one of the most anticipated games for the Playstation 3. It was first supposed to be released this spring but was pushed back to fall. Sony has made an announcement confirming that the the game will be out in September.

Details originally cropped up here, claiming the company had pinned down a September release for LittleBigPlanet

When contacted by videogaming247, an SCEE spokesperson stated, “Yes this information is all correct - although it has been in the public domain for a while now.”

Although LittleBigPlanet had previously been pegged for a September release in Europe, both Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 had yet to receive any information on when PAL gamers could expect them on store shelves.

Oh well, at least it IS coming out, and it has a set month to come out. Let us hope nothing pushes it back even further...

I should hope nothing would, but you never know -_-

Im happy that we have a release date. But im upset that its coming out in the same month as Killzone 2. I don't two massive online games to play at the same time.

At least we have a confirmed date. It's a clever move though. By September GTA4 will be old news and people would be looking for something fresh that'll last through the winter. LBP is that game.

My brother was talking about buying this game once it's released. A demo would be nice right around now.
