Nintendo UK just announced what could easily be the most exciting Mario Kart tournament to date, as participants won't just enjoy the privilege to play Mario Kart Wii before everyone else, but also get the chance to win a Mario Kart VW Convertible.

Come April 5, thirty GAME stores in the UK will hold Mario Kart Wii races where players will compete for supremacy on the track. During the event, everyone has a chance to win a copy of the game and £250 of "Experience Vouchers" for karting, paintballing, quad biking, and other activities. GAME stores will also host prize draws to give away Mario Kart Gift Cards worth £50.
