Daily Mail: Resident Evil 4 "shouldn't allowed to be sold, even to adults"

Following the recent Byron Review, the UK's Daily Mail newspaper has featured 'reviews' of a variety of violent videogames, including Resident Evil 4 and Scarface. Writer and broadcaster Anne Diamond claims that the former "shouldn't be allowed to be sold, even to adults."

Following the completion of the recent Byron Review into rating videogames in the UK, broadcaster Anne Diamond undertook some investigative journalism for the Daily Mail newspaper, in which she gives her “informed” opinion on a number of titles, including Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, which she claims “shouldn’t allowed to be sold, even to adults.”

    The Daily Mail is a crap paper anyway. Anyone rational just ignores their silly little rants. Besides, it just makes me laugh when stuffy middle aged toffs start trying to understand the appeal of things aimed at a youth market - of course it won't appeal to you because you're about 25 years older than the target audience you blithering idiot!

    Gotta admire the Daily Mails futile efforts to spread biased propaganda to the older, slightly unaware generations. I remember back along when they were trying to warn parents about a growing cult known as 'Emo.'
    You see, the Mail hates foreigners, immigrants, homosexuals, single mothers, atheists, liberals, pacifists, and so on.

    Yeah, this article's a load of crap. Telling EVERYONE that they shouldn't play it is just idiotic. Some people can handle violence in games, some people can't. They shouldn't see everyone as the latter.

    And why RE4? It's been out a good few years now, and the stuff that happens in it is pretty tame compared to other games.

    Is it just me or do many adults need to be pampered when it comes to virtual violence?
