Starting in early April, Gamestop will no longer be selling (or buying) Game Boy and Game Boy Color games. However, this change will not impact the sale of Game Boy Advance games. Gamers seeking new games for their beloved Gameboy Color will now have to turn to other places, such as eBay.

I stopped into Gamestop today to return my overpriced copy of Professor Layton and noticed a sign on the front counter that said they would no longer be accepting used Game Boy and Game Boy Color games in early April. These games are no longer in production, which means when the games they have in stores are gone, that's it.

I think I speak for most of us when I say "who cares?" Anyone who likes them probably would have played them by now, as they are really old, and we can still get them off eBay.
