Movie makers Paramount Pictures have announced that they are branching into the gaming market. Expected mainly to publish games based on Paramount movies its an interesting move from a company that is clearly going to make waves in the high money earning gaming business.

Like other movie studios and media companies, Paramount is seeing the reason (and value) of opening up their own game publishing business for their new and old movies.

An article today in Variety reports that Paramount is establishing a game publishing unit. This group will focus on both new Paramount films along with catalog titles. Paramount hinted earlier this month that it was looking to get into the games space.
