Xbox 360 drops below £150

Well after an official price drop, It looks like retailers are taking the price into their own hands with tesco dropping the price of the 360 arcade below £150. Seems like a good time to purchase a 360.

An aggressive price promotion from the UK’s leading retailer Tesco has seen Microsoft’s Xbox 360 drop below the £150 barrier for the first time.

The supermarket chain if offering an Xbox 360 Arcade machine, which includes a wireless joypad, 256MB memory card, component cable and five Xbox Live Arcade titles, for just £148.71.

    When a competitor drops their price it's pseudo-related to the other consoles.

    Particularly when so many people are convinced the other console only sells because of its lower. This gives the Wii an even better chance to prove otherwise.

    Once the 360 with the hard-drive lowers in price I'll be sure to buy it. I've been waiting to have Wii60 for awhile.

      The important thing to note though, is that the core 360 is now cheaper than the Wii.

    Zeon, around $200-$225 Dollars I think, but Im not too sure, But anyway, that is extremely cheap, I can see a rise in 360 sales coming on. I might even buy one for myself at that price. How much cheaper is this than the Ps3 at the minute ?

      It's ~300USD

      The 40GB PS3 (the only SKU available in the UK) is £300 (~600USD)
