British paper paying for tales of game-influenced violence

British paper StarNow wants gamers to talk about crimes they've committed influenced by video games. Not only that, they're willing to pay hundreds of pounds. So, if "computer games make you turn to a life of crime", now's the time to cash in!

Write a few lines about how computer games turned you to crime and if it's something we like, we'll call you straight back.

    Just for kicks, I'm going to show up and write about how after a lengthy session of GTA I immediately saved four peoples lives and defused 3 possible bomb threats.

    I think it's quite sad that they would have to go so far as to hold an entire contest and pay hundreds of pounds just to find one (possibly fake) story of how video games ruined somebody's life.

    This kind of cashing-in on hot topics is just pathetic, it's lower than even Fox would go.
