Ubisoft has just recently announced a flight-combat title, "HAWX". Yes, "HAWX". Someone call the spelling/grammar police! HAWX is a game that lets play control over 50 planes in a war in the sky. The game is set in 2012. The game includes the typical political storyline where private military companies become increasingly more important in the fight for "freedom".

The game supports up to 4 player co-op (with drop in/drop out!) throughout the entire game and includes a Vs. mode for up to 16 people. The game will release this Fall for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and P.C.

Fortunately, you won't have to fight alone. HAWX supports four-player jump in co-op throughout the campaign. There is also a Vs. mode where up to 16 players can battle online for experience points and in-game cash, which is used to unlock new weapons.

Captain Mitchell ? As in "Ghost Recon" Captain Mitchell ? Jesus Christ, I knew that they were planning on using him in EndWar, but this too ? Damn.

I think an aircraft title would be an interesting twist for Tom Clancy games. They're already boardening their horizons with EndWar. I'd like to see some gameplay footage soon.

Ubisoft's Scott Mitchell is like Clancy's Jack Ryan...somehow he's in every conflict even if it doesn't have to include him.

Eeeeehhh...not likin' the premise too much. And hopefully the combat theaters are more bright, as opposed to this washed out 'dead' city.

Aha, that'd be a great game.

Personally, I think the game looks interesting, and I've always been a fan of the Tom Clancy series, so this game will be worth at least a rental from me.
