Basically, a new pack will be coming out which will act as a person trainer. It will keep track of your "health" and take you through a number of fitness regimens, all of which can be found in a complete health pack.

Also, a game where you are a conductor and has to lead a orchestra through a number of plays is also coming out soon as well.

The part that we’re interested in comes from the interview, when a Greek game executive says he expects Wii music to arrive by the end of the year. He also stated that the object of the game would be to act as a conductor for the entire orchestra and you will also be able to control individual musicians. Users will also have the ability to create their own songs and will probably be able to share them with other Wii users.

The interview also reveals details of a new interactive game that Nintendo will call “Health Pack”. The goal of the game? To act as a personal trainer that will walk users through special workouts and exercises. Apparently, this game will also collect each users health data, and upload it to the soon to be released “health channel”. This data will them be sent to “hospitals” for “checkups” and your analysis will be sent back to you over the Wii message system.

    I don't know if this will replace my pilates routine, but it seems awesome. I will probably want some screens before I decide to get it or not though. Tehe. ^^;

    Not really. Over the past few weeks a lot of people have been talking about weight lost with the Wii.

    As humorous as I initially found this, I think it is amazing that the Wii can be used in this way. It actually sounds pretty good and authentic too, with the data-logging etc. Excellent use of the console, I certainly hope it gets more people exercising. Great article, thanks Mish.

    I'm happy about the Health idea. Not so much the music. I'll probably take that up as a way to keep eating chicken wings. On the other hand, the music looks terrible. Drums would be decently cool though.
