Call of Duty 4: Top 5 Multiplayer Annoyances

This interesting and funny read explains just now annoying online gaming can be. I admit that I've experienced a few of these annoying facts, and it's true that they really do get on your nerves, something that could ultimately turn you away from playing certain games online.

Ok, so everyone knows that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is an awesome game. It continues to sell at a breakneck pace and has established one of the largest online communities since its release in November of 2007. Now that everyone has been playing online hardcore players can agree on one thing, some things in multiplayer can really piss you off.

I won’t even go into the inevitable encounters with online idiots that you are guaranteed to come across. Those would be the racists and the little kids whose voices haven’t cracked and spend most of the match squealing like spanked pigs.

This list is about in-game multiplayer annoyances and the people that use them to maximize the frustration factor for everyone else.

    I would have to reverse the #1 and #2 spots. Grenades are the absolute game killer. You can't move without getting hit by nades, so, so annoying.

    Wow, most of the stuff wasn't even that bad, the only actual worth thing of complaining about was the Helicopter/Airstrike deal.

    Juggernaut shouldn't have even made the list to be honest.

    Are you kidding? Juggernaut is cheap, and shouldn't be in the game. And don't give me that "just counter it" crap. Yeah, it's possible, and yes, I've killed people who've had Juggernaut, but it's a lot harder.

      Not really, aim for the head, doesn't make much of a difference. Random grenade throwing usually isn't all that random(UAV, general rush points, etc.).

      Spawn points are the only bad thing about COD4.

    Why do people bitch about martyrdom. How bout you learn not to go sprinting over everything you kill. This is not halo....

    Granted it's *bleep*ed in Hardcore.

      Try playing in a server with more than 10 people on each side; it gets tedious. You get used to killing people and backing off but that doesn't counter the fact that other people kill other people and everyones nades are a fallin'. Not to mention if your teammate dies, his nade will also kill you.

        Exactly it's absolutely ridiculous to have martyrdom in Hardcore. But otherwise it's a pretty minor annoyance.

        Juggernaut is pretty annoying. But it's not to hard to deal with. Unless you happen to be sniping. In which case it's annoying as hell not to one shot them.

    Everything else I pretty much agree with, though I think that the 3x Grenades should have been number 1. Of all the things that piss me off in CoD4, it's the fact that when someone spawns they just spin around in a circle throwing grenades in random directions hoping to hit someone. It takes no skill whatsoever.

    As for Martyrdom, it doesn't really bother me anymore since every time I kill someone I run in the opposite direction without hesitation. I very rarely am killed by it now (maybe 1 for every 30 times I die).

    So what if they dont get prestige?

    Im a player that doesnt play cod4 24/7 and so it takes me alot of time to rank up(had since october and im lvl 52, No prestige)

    And I would think its complete bullshit if I had to start all over again. I dont want to start at the bottom and basicly play it all over again for the sake of a crappy image next to my name.

      It's talking about how you'll know the maps and tricks really well...but your still grouped with the people just starting...

      It's just not really sporting. It's like deliberately ranking down to play with bad players.

      I doubt your situation is what they have in mind though.

        I actually find that the higher up I go in prestige, the more advanced players I get matched with. The last game I played in FFA was filled with guys in higher prestiges than I was.
