Mercenaries 2: World in Flames U.S. release date/trailer revealed

The Mercenaries 2: World in Flames U.S. release date has been announced for August 31st. That gives you about five monthes to get some cash for the game.

Also with the release date announced, there comes a nice trailer to view.

Electronic Arts and Pandemic Studios have dropped a new trailer for Mercenaries 2: World in Flames in our lap, complete with an official release date in tow. The follow-up to the 2005 destruct-o-thon will hit US shores on August 31, 2008, giving us less than five months before we blow everything up.

Let's just say that you absolutely have to watch the trailer below to see exactly what sort of revenge story this is. Imagine a pissed off Forrest Gump and you might have some sort of an idea of what we're talking about. Enjoy.

    Now I know the story involves payback, I want to play it even more.

    About time the sequel hits. The first game was one of my favourite games on ps2/xbox.
