In May 2007, 1.26% of computers were running Linux. As of this month, the numbers have increased by 61%, holding at 2.02% (beating out four older versions of Windows). Interestingly, XP is winning out over Vista by a landslide, with over a 70% difference in user share.

      Eh, if it's sold with newer systems, people will buy and use it. Same reason IE is up there, cause it's pushed.

    If I brought a new computer, it would definitely be an XP or a Mac. I'm not a fan of Vista.

    I thought that more people would be running Vista, as it's newer. I love Vista, and don't see what's wrong with it.

      Many people (such as myself) have been unlucky and have had numerous problems with it either due to incompatible hardware or other issues.

        Depends what you use it for I guess. Casual computer users might be fine.
