Strange though, I've called most of the gamestop's in my sorrounding area and none of them have the silver. Just black.

Well my Gamestop didn't have silver, but I don't want silver anyways. I got the black one to go with my black PS3. I got it for $49.99 though. Maybe they were having a sale? Who cares. I got it for cheap.

I haven't tried it yet, but I did take it out of the box. A little more hefty than the SIXAXIS, but thats a good thing. So how am I supposed to download a patch so it works with older PS3 games? Or does prompt me to download once a pop in the game?

Usualy if the game has a patch it will prompt you to download it when you launch the game. If its a game like resistance or motorstorm, your going to have to go online and it will tell you that you need to download a patch.

I wanted silver because that way I can distinguish it from the SIXAXIS. Plus I wanted something different. Im gonna sell my old SIXAXIS for store credit. 10 Dollars off, WOOh!

I'm trading in my old SIXAXIS, too. Because right now, the R2 button is broken, the analog sticks squeek, and something's rattling around inside it.

Hopefully I'll get a decent discount off of the DS3 with it, despite the problems it has.

you wont. My gamestop was only going to give me $10 for my Sixaxis that works perfect.

I imported mine into the UK for around $60 so to look at the sale price in America to actually be only $5 less makes me think I done well :3

Indeed it was, but that's overpirced anyway in my opinion. It's only a pad for God's sake. I miss the little button in-between the L3 and R3. =[

You mean the 'analog' button? What'd even be the point of it?

It looked cool, even though it was never really used.

I have the top silver one! ^^

Maybe someday, I'll trade in my sixaxis for a black DS3 though.

I'll get the Black one....Silver looks alright, but my PS3 is black >_>

I'll keep my regular SIXAXIS since I won't get a good trade-in value for it anyway. People that visit can be P2, without rumble

So, is this controller just a controller without an analog stick and a pad instead?

Shadow of Death Apr 5, 08
Errr, what are you on about?

It is the same as the SIXAXIS PS3 controller, only with Rumble included.

Really dunno why you'd think that. The Dualshock controllers have always had both analog sticks, even in the PS1 era, I think. And most games wouldn't play properly without the dual analog sticks anyhow >_>

It even shows both dualshock 3s having Analog sticks in the picture above >_>

Wow, i don't even know what the point of them making this was for. Oh well i guess it's just for something new to sell to everyone for even more money.

Wow... someone really did submit an article just to say that they were available now/today even though we've had articles like yesterday saying they would be available tomorrow (meaning today). This is *bleep*ing absurd. Really now guys.

We have in the numbers of 10-50+ news a day. Some people don't check news everyday. Please keep this in mind. I do agree with you, though that it's rather silly.

This article has absolutely no new information to it than the other article, even so, it has less information.
