The developers of the Full Auto series, along with Cel Damage (remember that game for the Xbox launch?), Pseudo Interactive, have officially shut down. The news comes after the developer suffered major layoffs, after Eidos and parent company SCi canceled several projects.

1UP has learned that as of today Pseudo Interactive, the developer behind the Full Auto series, has ceased operations.

The Toronto-based company, which employed over fifty people as of 2006, recently suffered major layoffs when Eidos and parent company SCi scrapped several projects -- including an unnamed title that Pseudo Interactive was working on. The developer tried to push on after the bad news, but clearly their efforts couldn't hold up.

While they hadn't yet had the chance to reach the realm of triple-A developer, Pseudo's games were always fun. 1UP wishes the best to the developers at Pseudo Interactive.

Man, I loved Full Auto and Cel Damage (who could forget Cel Damage? ), and it's sad to see them shut down.

I've only played Full Auto 2 : Battlelines, and it was pretty good. But I guess Full Auto was never quite popular.

What an incredible game FA was for me when I had the 360. Easily the best game there was for online gaming so this is sad to see happen. I just hope someone is able to pick that game up if possible ^-^
