GTA IV will NOT have a PS3 bundle!

Yesterday, it was reported that GTA IV could have a PS3 bundle, but it had not yet been commented on by Sony.

Sony's commented now, however, and has claimed that it's nothing more than a rumor. They've not said whether it's a possibility or not, however, so it's possible that it might happen, but as of right now the official word is no.

A supposed GTA IV bundle for PS3 in Europe, which popped up at a Swedish retailer yesterday, has been dubbed loose talk by SCEE.

    Thankfully they aren't doing this bundle, i mean i heard they were wanting about $750 for this. I mean c'mon that's the biggest rip off if they didn't chuck in a whole bunch of extras.

      You do know that Americans get the console for much less than Europeans, if we got the system for the same price as you guys we would be paying £180 for a PS3, instead we pay £350 which is close to $700 regardless of a bundle or added controllers... Look at the price and you know it is not coming to America if it happens, it came from a European website and the original article was dubbed to cater for the American currency for some reason.

          Well the game is being released this month. I would doubt that ther going to bundle it now seeing as they've just shut it down.

          They've announced the MGS bundle and thats coming out in summer.

          The reason the title of the news is the way it is is because at the moment, that's the official word from Sony. It's still pure speculation at the moment that they might, but with the MGS4 bundle coming out two months after the supposed PS3 bundle would be released, it wouldn't exactly make things more intriguing for potential PS3 owners.

          I was simply pointing out that saying it will not have a bundle is as misleading as the rumor this news article was made to disspell. If a bundle isn't confirmed, say that, but saying in the title that it will not have a bundle is misleading because, as you've said, it isn't confirmed one way or another.

          You know they could have 2 bundles Slumpy, i mean the MGS4 bundle is for the 80GB version. This bundle could be for the 40GB model. So having two types of bundles imo is a great idea. Some people don't like MGS4 but they do like GTA4 and they should get that bundle. Vice versa to GTA4 and MGS4.
