MGS4 Details: This Will Blow You Away

New details have been revealed by the EDGE magazine. It's revealed that Kojima might want to produce for the future of the Metal Gear series and not direct, but as far as Snake goes it's over. Strong words from Kojima.

It's also said that there will one big bang in the final game that will blow you away. Fans can only speculate what this is.

There is a really large list of the new details at the source, make sure you check it out, but I would like to say that the article also said that no game will touch MGS4 in the Easter eggs department and that includes GTAIV.

Kojima says that this game has so many small features that you won't find some of these features until months or years later.

MGO is included with MGS4, but it will be the bare bones to be added to and upgraded in time.

The opening credits (of MGS4) were designed by Logan, the people that did the hugely successful ipod ads.

The story visits more locations and embraces more styles than any MGS to date.

    I seriously can not wait for this though it is great to hear that he would still want to have a role in the productions of the MGS games as without him it could go very sour.

      I doubt its going to happen. I Mean GTA4 isn't out yet, how do they know its going to top it, they haven't played it?

      Interesting, but i doubt they can top the easter egg department.

        Why thumb him down, its a good point i mean GTA IV isn't out yet, not even Hideo Kojima can predict the future no matter how smart he thinks he is, the fact is GTA has been full of them and with their in-game internet and their telephone numbers that gives them the possible of having hundreds of easter eggs from that alone, i would like to see MGS4 with that many without looking like a joke.

          Have you played previous MGS games as well? MGS2 had hundreds of Easter Eggs and MGS3 had quite a lot as well. It isn't surprising at all to think that MGS4 will have even more.

          What do you expect Nikki its the thumbs down crew at work yet again, they even thumbed you down, which i just fixed.

          Fact is GTA is notorious with their easter eggs which is why i still personally think they won't top them. They will have alot yes but i don't think they can top GTA4 when GTA has always had outrageous amounts of Easter eggs, and this game i see will double what other GTA's has done.

          No reason to thumb me down because you don't know how many easter eggs are actually in Kojima games, finalblade. I really don't think you understand just how many are in the MGS games as well.

          Wasn't why i thumbed you down, its you jumping to conclusions that MGS4 will have more easter eggs than GTA4, when they haven't played it yet.

          GTA games are notorious for Massive Easter eggs, and GTA4 sounds like its going to be alot. I know there is lots of Easter eggs in MGS4, but to say more than GTA when no one actually played it to 100%, which includes Kojima.

          Also i disagreed with your post as well.

    I think Kojima doesn't even trust Snake in the hands of anyone else, including his own team. For a man who says that there is not enough quantum mass or whatever in space to handle this game, this is his story and his character, and he's going to end it on his terms. Man this is going to be THAT game talked about for ages. GTA is one of my favorites and it is fun, but Metal Gear Solid is an experience.

      I don't know if I'd say he doesn't trust them with him. It could be true. I think it's more that Snake is like a Kojima avatar if you will. His vision of a superspy. I think that if Kojima decides not to involve himself so much in future MGS it's the right choice to leave Snake out of it.

      Besides, I think a fresh character could be a good thing.

    I hate to say it, but, this will be my first MGS game. Well, I had that weird puzzle based only one but that doesn't count.

      If you have a PSP, you can catch up with the Digital Novels or you can buy the Essentials Collection...just to get you updated for MGS4. I highly suggest you go backtrack through those first, not only will it help you understand storyline-wise, but they are awesome rides to go through.

    I can't wait for GTAIV but for some reason I'm anticipating the final MGS from Kojima even more. Want to see how the story will end and what we will get blown away by.

      For some reason? It's pretty obvious that MGS4 is going to blow GTA4 away, and that's saying something because GTA4 is going to be monolithic.
