Much to the surprise of Wii owners, Disaster: Day of Crisis is alive and well. In fact, it was given an official release date in Japan. It will hit stores in Japan on July 3, 2008. Also included on the release list is Super Mario Stadium Baseball, which will release on June 19 in Japan.

Disaster: Day of Crisis is currently in development by Monolith Soft and Nintendo. You'll have to battle through various natural disasters, and escape alive. According to Nintendo, the game will feature “Cutting-edge physics and gripping visuals” to re-create the sheer terror of major catastrophes.

Wow, I'm surprised this game is still alive; we haven't heard anything about it in ages. Good news though, I'm excited to see how Monolith's new game turns out!
