Japanese gaming researchers have developed a type of pills to aid marathon gamers with sore eyes and fatigue. Gaming has now become such a serious business that now tournament gamers can turn to similar 'doping' enhancements as professional sportsmen to increase their performance. Maybe one day we'll even see a GDC, Gaming Doping Commission, that ensures gamers aren't using illicit enhancement for professional tournaments.
TOKYO (Reuters) - Gaming addicts with sore eyes and tired brains may be able to perk up with "Game Suppli," a new Japanese supplement developed specifically for the country's thousands of fanatic players.
"We concentrated on developing a supplement for those who love games," reads the advert for the pills on www.cybergadget.co.jp, a Web site that sells a range of accessories for video game fans.

What I'm curious about though is whether or not there are any long term effects of cumulative effects of these pills. This company may find themselves in trouble if there are.
Yeah, one wonders if they'll ban the use at game tournaments? They really should. Drug tests might go a bit far, but anyone found using it (or even having the stuff) should be banned. They should administer a drug test before tournaments too. If one doesn't submit to the test, they won't be allowed to compete. They'd ensure anonymity and privacy and such >_>
I'd say it's a drug
You'd get the same result taking fish oil suppliments. They're just trying to get money off people by saying that these pills are specifically made for gamers, when they are most likely just the same sort of health suppliments you can buy at a Health Store or Supermarket.
Just thought i'd throw that out there
Though, don't they think that is taking it a bit to far I mean gaming pills for crying out loud.
"Japanese videogame professionals charged with recreational drug use during tournaments."
Or something along those lines.
