Krunal | April 10, 2008 | News | Playstation Portable
Hopefully you've read the news about the recent PSP Games on the PSN being hacked so that they can be played on any system, and if you haven't here's a quick summary - Players have managed to decrypt the security on the PSP games downloaded from the Playstation store so that they can be played on any Playstation Portable, and you can effectively give a copy of the game to your friend, so that they can play it as well.

Well, in response, Sony have brought out a questionnaire asking gamers, why exactly it is that they hack the games. Take a look at the questionnaire below...

If I had a PSP I would hack it. So I guess that survey would be a completely agree. Now to get a PSP!

HAHA. I doubt anyone with a brain will do that, since most hackers are smart enough not to. I don't really play my PSP too often, so this doesn't really matter to me.

I don't hack. Unless there was a disc like gameshark and such where i can hack into my games, i find it rather pointless.

Is it that pointless when you can play PSP games for free, Nintendo games for free, Sega games for free, i mean any game can be played for free on a hacked system, hackers get a world of benefits and there isn't much Sony can do hell even Phil Harrison was happy that they hack the PSP and were amazed how well they could run and code their own stable custom firmware.
