  The only thing I saw was " a risk that Wii titles could struggle in 2008 ", well that's shit; Brawl, Mario Kart, Star Wars Force Unleashed, Spore and many other great new games are coming/came out this year so how is this year's line-up going to be bad?

  The Wii has obviously helped the economy, mainly in America, where it's needed most, because everyone wants one. Without it, we would have gone into a recession much earlier. It's scary how video games have a huge effect on the economy.

  Meh, if the country is going into recession, and people begin to lose money, and make less money they're bound to not buy as many video games from every system, it's not as if only the people who buy Wii's will become less financially stable, whilst the 360 and PS3 owners will continue to remain at the same financial level.   I don't think the Wii would be any more affected by anything financial than the 360 and PS3. This sounds like another group of 360 and PS3 hopefuls.

  This raises a rather intriguing subject. If the Wii is affected by the US recession, maybe they'll be forced to start selling the games in Europe to make their money. So as a result Europe could technically gain from the recession in the US.
