"Mafia II" Confirmed On Playstation 3 and Xbox 360

2K Games have officially confirmed that Mafia II will release for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in extension to the PC which was decided when the game was first under discussion.

In addition to this, Mafia II is said to be in the May issue of the Official Playstation Magazine where it will reveal that the game will store over 50 vehicles as well as 10 square miles of unrestricted territory.

Despite talks about a takeover of Take2 by EA are still ongoing, 2K Games is not sitting on its ass, waiting for the outcome. 2K Czech has announced that Mafia 2 will be released not only on PC but will also see the light of day on Microsoft's Xbox360 and Sony's PS3

      I'm constantly suprised by how good the graphics are, I should really get used to all this next-gen stuff. .___.

      The screen where he's getting in the cab looks good. They seem to have worked on everything; the cars, citizens, background etc rather than focusing on a few things in particular.

    I've never heard of this game or it's prequel.

    But, judging by StarJet's comment, it must be pretty good.

      Where have you been? I'll admit it wasn't the best game ever, but it was good.

        Yeah, it wasn't the best, but was one of the best games of the time. I just loved Free Ride Extreme.

    Only 10sq miles of city though.. Hmm, doesn't sound like much. Graphics are amazing though.

      That is a fair amount of space though >_>

      Oblivion is supposedly about 16 miles Square, and it is freakin' huge.

      10 Square miles is a decent sized city, I'm sure.

      Then you probably haven't played the first one. It wasn't much of a hyped game, but it was a pretty good one, nevertheless. Much like GTA. Who knows? Maybe R* got some ideas from Mafia.

        LOL I love how get thumbs down for stating something.

        Oh i have i just didn't think it was anything great. But i will try this one but im not going to get crazy over it, since i didn't think the first one was anything special. Now im looking forward to SR2

    I've never seen the first game either.

    Hasn't there already been a Mafia 2 trailer out on Xbox Live though?
