A lot of DS owners probably think the system is just about perfect. Well, speculation says Nintendo could be thinking differently, and maybe you will too after seeing the mock-up pictured here (a few design issues aside).

Enterbrain (Famitsu's publisher) boss Hirokazu Hamamura expressed himself in the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu and said he thinks Nintendo might announce a new DS model during E3.

Nintendo's spokesman: "No comment".

Hm, looks quite nice actually. Though, I find it hard for myself to get a DS. None of the games other than Pokemon appeal to me.

That design has wider screens, which means a wider DS. Usually when Nintendo redesigns their handheld, they tend to make it smaller or lighter than the previous version, more compact...so I doubt, if they do go with a design, that they'll choose that one.

It looks like it's a take off of 2 PSP's together!

If that can fit in my pocket and has extra features than my old Nintendo DS then i'll trade it in. But because it won't have GBA pack support it better have a lot new features for me to even think about getting it.

The pictures looks bad, but it also looks good. I like how the screens are huge, looking nice. But, it'd be a bit awkward to carry around, plus it looks a bit awkward to play.

I like the idea of a bigger screen, I dunno though, does look a bit awkward.

It looks awesome with two huge bright screens, and i have heard that it wont have GBA slots but instead it will have memory built into it. If thats true it would explain the big screens = movies, video, internet. It might cost like 200 dollars though and it looks kinda slim so it might be very fragile. Then again its not an official picture.

Maybe they should just make a whole new hand held, instead of just remaking the same one.

The screen size is pretty crazy because of how big it is, but I can't see myself buying it =\.
