You may have heard recently about the cheaters on the time trials of Mario Kart Wii, well now Nintendo has gotten serious and blocked the way of cheating as well as deleting all the cheated time trial times.

Seems we can count on Nintendo for saving this game many times to come when more glitches are exploited.

Tons of people were complaining that people were cheating in Mario Kart Wii’s Time Trial records. I didn’t know how quickly Nintendo would act, and I am quite surprised to find out that they have already taken steps to solve the problem. According to multiple readers, cheaters have had records deleted, and the cheating methods have been blocked. Nintendo wins this round, let’s see what happens from here on out!

This is extremely good for Nintendo, cheaters never prevail but it seems as if they almost managed to this time, from here on out we'll have to see what happens online. But like the article says, it's horrifically shocking because nobody at all expected Nintendo to act so quickly, brain blast much ?

Hopefully nobody else will find any sort of way or somehow hack into the system and enable the cheats that the cheaters originally were using, so all in all, Nintendo did win this one once again like the article says, but I'm still curios about a few things.

Actually, I'm going to have to disagree with the "cheaters never prevail" part because, in most online Nintendo games, they do. That's because Nintendo has never really done anything about it. It's nice to see that Nintendo are finally fighting back, and quickly responded to this. Mario Kart Wii is definitely going to be big as far as online Wii games go, so I'm happy to see that they are finally starting to crack down on cheaters.

This is really good news. Why people feel the need to do it in the first place is stupid anyway.

    Good work, Nintendo!

Hopefully they keep up the work when more glitches arrive. Mario Kart is a great franchise and I really think Nintendo wants to protect it from the cheaters/hackers.

Reminds me of Microsoft's 'zero tolerance' policy with cheaters. Great job Nintendo, I'll be more drawn to Mario Kart Wii's online capabilities now.

Glad to see that Nintendo is fighting back against cheaters because if they hadn't done anything then I probably wouldn't of used the online for when I get Mario Kart.

Yes, I'm happy that Nintendo did something about all of that crap T_T. It would have been really annoying to never have a fair chance at being in the top tier of the Mario Kart time trials etc. I'm happy! Go Nintendo! XD!
