Not too long ago here on GameGrep itself, someone posted a news article on the fact that a Metal Gear Solid 4 headset was going to be released. Unfortunately, the Metal Gear Solid 4 headset is apparently a fake 3D design.

The writer of design blog ProsumeThis says this Metal Gear Solid 4 headset he designed is real, in production, will cost $60, is officially licensed and will be available on June 12, same as the game. While I'd love to believe him, I don't, but that doesn't make the design any less pleasing on the eye.

Did anyone even read this article before they approved it? Grammar ftl. My brain almost exploded trying to read this poorly written description.

"Not too long ago here on GameGrep itself, someone posted a news article on the fact that there was going to be what ? I Metal Gear Solid 4 headset ? No ? Wrong, unfortunately, apparently the Metal Gear Solid 4 headset is a mock up using technology (what the hell?) to render other objects to make it, check out the pictures if you do not believe me."

"Not too long ago here on GameGrep itself, someone posted a news article on the fact that there was going to be a what, Metal Gear Solid 4 headset? No. Unfortunately, the Metal Gear Solid 4 headset seems to be a 3d mock-up by a fan and looks like it will never see production despite the fans claims."

It was sent to the Requires Edit queue because of this, and as the poster didn't fix it, I decided to patch it up a bit.

This got 33 rates in teh first minute it was up? Is this some kind of glitch or what's the deal here???

The deal is, it was submitted actually several hours (like 10 maybe) ago. It had very poor grammar, so it was sent to the Requires Edit queue. As the poster didn't fix it, I decided to fix it and approve it. So, the actual "1 min ago" is wrong.

The stupid thing is is that now he will get longer to get rates due to being on the 24hr list longer and people will rate it for the sake that it's there controversially.

I say we assissinate the submitter

It is a big deal. I could hardly read it. It's nothing personal against him, it's just that I had a helluva time reading it and I'm trying to help.

Also people, you get rates based on how many people click the article to view it as well(something like that, thats was Tek said). So that probably contributed to the 33 rates in a minute thing.

Nah the rates happen by hitting the 'Rate It' button underneath the rating value next to the title. They are the only way you get the bonus GameGrep points.

No. Views, comments, and some other factors also help the increasing of the score of an article. Not just the ratings.

Poor grammar, I really have to watch how much I play with words, I didn't notice anything at all, but then again, I used a few statements that were confusing, I apologize.

It's no problem at all, Euraces.
