Australia also getting Metal Gear Online Beta?

Recently a Australian gaming site called Gameplayer has announced that when the store opens tomorrow Aussie gamers will be able to download the Metal Gear Online Beta, are they referring to the fact that the new store is rumoured to be region free? Or do they know something we don't?

Aussie gamers will be able to take part in the beta test for Metal Gear Online very, very soon. The new look PlayStation Store goes live tomorrow, on April 15, and a fresh batch of content will be downloadable from the 17th – including the MGO beta.



Two maps will be included with the beta: ‘Blood Bath’ and ‘Groznyi Grad.’ The latter, adapted from the setting for Metal Gear Solid 3, will include man-cannons for launching players through the multi-level environment.

    And with it being so easy to create a European account, I don't think this is going to make much difference.

    I knew it was Groznyj Grad since the first time MGO screens were released. This is awesome, I loved the design of that place.
