So far, it has been announced that the Steel PS3 will be released in Japan as well as North America. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe still doesn't know for sure if the folks at SCEJ are going to send any Gunmetal PS3 systems to Europe, but they don't want to deny it.

For those that have been living in a rock the past few days, the Steel/Gunmetal colored PS3 package will come in a bundle with a Steel colored 40GB PS3, a Dualshock3 of the same color, and MGS4 of course!

SCEE has told videogaming247 this morning that it’s waiting for official word on whether or not Europe will receive the gunmetal special edition PS3 for the launch of Metal Gear Solid 4.

“I’ve asked if we’re getting this but have yet to have an answer confirmed,” said a rep.
