Aparently there was to be a demo released soon for the highly anticipated game, but unfortunately now the demo on the 360 has been given as around "launch time", meaning essentially we are back to square one. There is also news that the demo might not be coming to the other platforms. With minor delays on the 360, PC, Wii and ps2 versions. The PS3 version is still due later this year.

A release window for a demo of the Xbox 360 version of Atari's survival horror game Alone in the Dark has been given as "around launch" of the full game, which hits on June 20.

According to the Atari forums there's no confirmation yet on the demo coming to other platforms.

Alone in the Dark's received plenty of press over the last few months. But that's no bad thing as the game is promising to deliver an experience that survival horror fans can rave about and frighten their grannies with. Hopefully it won't be a let down.

Atari recently confirmed a minor delay to 360, PC, Wii and PS2 versions, which are now due June 20. A PS3 version is due later in the year.

This game looks pretty lame to me.

Maybe I was soured by the Christian Slater / Tara Reid movie.

Don't base the game of the movie, it's another typical movie attempt to make a game that has gone epicly wrong. Much like Resident Evil

I have to agree with the game being lame. It just doesn't seem all that good. But i'll try the demo or game which ever comes out first to be fair.

Kspiess, don't worry, that shitty movie wasn't even close to the awesomeness of this game. At least I think, the original Alone in the Dark was pretty cool.

Hopefully PSN gets a demo too. I'm quite interested in this game.
