      Once you have the update installed to 1.01 you'll be taken to the game id login screen where you'll enter everything correctly but fail to connect each time due to the fact that you can't play it yet.

        ooohh, gotcha
        that may be explaining my ID problem, it wont work, ive been trying to log in, and all i get is an error message

  I gave up, I only reached the download once out of about 10 tries so I'll do it later. Maybe too many people attacking servers?
