That's right folks, Criterion Games have officially announced that they will be bringing custom soundtracks as part of their next software update for thier PS3 game Burnout Paradise. It also couldn't be even simpler to use the custom soundtrack.

Now this will be the first game on the PS3 to support custom soundtrack, and it's likely that more will follow suit.

Today, we're delighted to announce Burnout Paradise custom soundtracks will be coming to the Playstation 3 as part of our Cagney software update.

If you want to play your own music while in Paradise City, it's now possible via Easydrive without interrupting the game.

    SWEET!

This was the first Burnout game to have a bad soundtrack in my opinion so this is great news.

Burnout is the type of game that can really benefit with an update like this. It's a good move.

Its not the first game to support it. That bowling(or was it pinball) had supported it before.

I was saving up to get a 360 and PS3, and was planning to get this for 360 (because I can't stand Burnout soundtracks). But now I don't know which system to get it for.

    Good.

Now we're not forced to listen to the horrible "Ea Trax."
