There's no doubt that Call of Duty 4 would be big. Now we have another set of figures to show us just how big the game is worldwide. Just over one week since its release, the variety map pack has already been downloaded over one million times! Not only that, but in that same time span, over 32 million hours of gameplay was logged on XBOX Live for COD4 alone!

Activision has announced today that the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare variety map pack has set a new record for the number of paid downloads on Xbox Live Marketplace - surpassing one million downloads in the first nine days since its release.

The company also reported that in the nine days from April 4 - 12, Xbox Live members played more than 30 million COD4 sessions and logged more than 32 million hours of gameplay.

That's quite historic! I gotta snag this DLC sometime over the weekend.

Please, Infinity Ward, use this edge to create your own CoD5, beat Treyarch. Or at least head up CoD6.

Lots of downloads for lots of players. Hehe, the game itself is great, moe maps make it better. No wonder so many downloaded.

Lol, 1 Million Downloads is a lot, but no surprise though, since COD4 is quite a good game.

I never played Call of Duty 4, though I have been told on many an occasion that it is quality.

One million downloads is a fair amount. Congratulations to the developers I suppose.
