Having trouble with Rainbox Six Vegas 2's achievements? These tips should help!

InnerDemon | April 20, 2008 | News | XBOX 360
Looking to augment your gamerscore with some extra achievements from Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for the Xbox 360? Well, you're in luck! The official Xbox website has just released some pointers that'll help gamers out in their quest for the highest gamer score.

The tips are things from re-spawning checkpoints several times so that you can rappel down one rappel many times to unlock Rappel King or unique places of setting C4 so that you can unlock the Cluster Bomb achievement.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six® Vegas 2 holds a treasure trove of achievements, all of them ready and waiting to be unlocked. Even a casual gamer can hope to score several hundred Gamerscore without too hefty a time commitment. With that in mind, the following tips should shave a precious hour or two off your time unlocking some of the game's most challenging achievements.

Rappel King: Kill 25 enemies while suspended from a rope (20 Gamerscore)

Whether you finished the game without scoring this achievement (like me) or you just want to get it over and done with early on, here's a quick solution. Play through the first training level, Pic des Pyrenees, until you find the first rappelling moment.

Rappel down, take out the three enemies and then select Reload Checkpoint from the Start menu. Simply repeat the process until the achievement unlocks. It may seem like it's taking longer than it should, but trust me, you'll get it.

These are some fairly nice tips, might try them some time when I get the game.

Here's the only tip you need. Play on Realistic for way more points.
