New Lara Croft figurine ... is wearing a lot of clothing.

Gothic Girl | April 21, 2008 | News | Playstation 2 Playstation 3 Misc
It's wearing alot of clothing for Lara, that is.
Gone are her short-shorts and tight tank-top barely holding in her boobs. Instead the new figurine is wearing a big warm woolen coat and a cozy pair of pants.
I think Lara Croft, I think 90's platforming, dinosaurs and leaps of faith.
You may, however, think of something else. Well, two things. If so, don't be too disappointed when you see this new, premium 12" figure from Sideshow, depicting Ms. Croft as not only well-prepared, but well-dressed. She's packing ten weapons/accessories, 30+ points of articulation and three pairs of interchangeable hands, and will be available Q4 for around USD$80. Nice boots.

I don't like this look to be honest.

I think I laughed my ass off when I read the title. She MAY look hotter because it's probably a psychological thing that you wanna see what she has underneath but you can't...*bleep*ing with your mind, man...

Maybe you're right Seeker, the unconscious side of me. But I honestly hated her outfit throughout the games, bland and blatant sex appeal. This is more...for lack of a better word, formal to me, and I dig it.

I do know what you mean. Her outfit always had to be very revealing, usually when you're wearing less revealing clothes on a character like Croft, it makes her more appealing.

The outfits she wore fitted with her games and her personality i think. Besides if you had a sexy body with ripped muscles im sure you would show them off alot

Why did I have a feeling such comments would appear?

She is a Video game character people. "Created", e.g. not real.

Open your eyes. The game developers go out of their way usually to give their female characters an 'eye-appealing' look. Eye-appeal is buy appeal. And in a sense, it's art, where 'beauty's in the eye of the beholder.' A computer-generated form of art, but art none-the-less.

The fact of the matter is...sex sells. So in short, again, open your eyes. I don't even see a problem in these comments...it's not like people are saying, "zOMG she's l1k3 50 h0t!!1! i wanta marry herz!!" The airbrushed 'pixeled real' chicks from internet and magazines aren't so different, actually.
