Do you think Uwe Boll is finally getting the message that his movies are bad? He has ignored the gamers' pleas for him to stop making movies and he even believes that he has more talent than Micheal Bay, George Clooney and Steven Spielberg!

But when Boll asked Blizzard if he was allowed to make a World of Warcraft movie, the answer was a resounding "Hell No!"

Whatever else negative you can say about Uwe Boll, one thing you can’t criticize him on is his strong love for video games. I mean, there may be over 200,000 signatures on an online petition asking that he stop making movies, but he clearly loves the gamer market, and at least goes into each project hoping to make good films for that fanboy community.

Right? Right?!?

the folks over at Blizzard wonder the same thing, since they practically laughed Boll out of their offices when he approached them about making a World of Warcraft adaptation, the director confessed.

“I got in contact with Paul Sams of Blizzard, and he said, ‘We will not sell the movie rights, not to you…especially not to you,’” Boll revealed.

Let's hope Uwe Boll get's the message after a few more likely rejections. ^^ If there's anything I hate, it's a 'better than the rest' attitude.

You know, I kinda feel sorry for this guy. For one, he clearly understands the importance of video games. It's just that he lacks true artistic talent.

Yeah. It's nice to see somebody that likes games, and he'd probably have quite a following if his movies were any good.

Making a movie about WoW isn't great idea anyway, there's no end to MMOs. He can do a movie on Saints Row or Mass Effect that would be awesome.

Besides anyone has more talent than George Clooney.

You can't be serious...Clooney may have done some not-so-decent roles lately, but the one where he plays a boxer (damnit, name escapes me), among others was well done, imo.

Quite honestly I think Clooney's recent roles have been outstanding. From Solaris to Michael Clayton.

Yeah but not overall, i think he's just not a great actor. However some movies can make you shine more than others, but not in general, at least not for me.
