Mark Rein of Epic Games, has told Eurogamer today that the Xbox 360 version of Unreal Tournament III could include a special Easter Egg related product of Gears of War 2 to get gamers drooling just that little bit more. He did not state much on what it would be but he did mention that you might have to keep a close eye on the Unreal Tournament 3 disc.

Mark Rein of Epic told Eurogamer today the Xbox 360 version of Unreal Tournament 3 could include a special easter egg-style treat for Gears of War fans.

"You might want to keep a close eye on the Unreal Tournament 3 disc. There might be something Gears of War 2 related on that," said Mr Rein, who would not confirm the exact nature of the content.

Mr Rein went on to claim Gears of War 2 would be a "much better" game than the original.

"I think Gears 2 is a much better game than the original, but we'll have to wait and see what the fans and reviewers think.

"I don't want to give away too much information. It's a just better game... We've improved it in many, many ways that'll be apparent before too long."

Unreal Tournament 3 is due on the 360 in the summer, featuring five new maps, two extra characters and split-screen play.

Gears 2 has been pencilled in for November, just in time for the Christmas rush
